RAP (Recent Average Price) averages all completed trades of a crop type — it has no information about your specific crop's weight or mutations. A Dragon Fruit RAP might show 500M averaging lightly-mutated crops with heavy mutated ones. Your Dragon Fruit with Celestial + Shocked at 15kg is worth 19.1 Trillion Sheckles — 38,200× more than the 500M average.
The calculator bypasses RAP entirely. You input your specific crop's exact weight and mutation stack. The output is your crop's actual value — not an average of everything else. Better crops = more Sheckles per kg. Dragon Fruit earns 850,000 Sheckles per kg of weight. Carrot earns 5,000 per kg. Grow the best seeds you can find — this single choice multiplies your income more than anything else.
Let crops grow heavy before harvesting. A Dragon Fruit at 10kg earns 4× more than the same crop at 5kg — not 2× more. The formula squares the weight. This means every extra kg you wait for adds more Sheckles than the previous kg did. Patience with heavy crops is the biggest free income boost available.
Mutations multiply your value dramatically. One Celestial mutation (120x) turns a 85M crop into a 10.2B crop. Mutations don't add — they multiply. Two mutations together multiply each other: Celestial × Shocked = 12,000x, not 220x. The calculator handles this automatically so you never have to do the math manually.
Use the calculator before any crop trade. If someone offers you Sheckles or items for your crop, calculate your crop's value first. Many trade scams work by offering "fair value" based on RAP when the actual crop is worth 100× more due to mutations.
1. Stack mutations in the right order of priority. Celestial (120x) first — it's the highest regular mutation and available most nights via Star Caller. Then Shocked (100x) when Thunderstorm occurs. Then Gold (20x) if Dragonfly applies it passively. The combined stack of these three on Dragon Fruit 15kg exceeds 305 Trillion Sheckles — no admin events needed.
2. Time harvests around weather events, not convenience. A Dragon Fruit that's been growing for 2 hours during a regular day is worth 85M at 10kg. The same crop during a Meteor Shower night with Star Callers placed = 10.2B. Waiting for the right weather event on an already-heavy crop is worth hours of regular farming time.
3. Let crops age fully before harvesting. Age bonus adds up to 2× multiplier for fully aged crops. A 100% aged Dragon Fruit 10kg with Celestial = 20.4B instead of 10.2B. The calculator's age bonus input shows you exactly how much Sheckles you'd gain from waiting vs harvesting now.
4. Use the reverse lookup when setting trade prices. When someone asks "how much is your Dragon Fruit worth?" — don't guess.
