What Is the Twilight Event?
The Twilight Event is a permanent recurring night-cycle mechanic introduced in Update 1.07.1 (May 25, 2025). Every hour when night begins, the Twilight Shop emerges from the ground near the Wise Old Owl NPC and stays open for 10 minutes. Stock rotates each visit — not every item appears every night. No event currency needed, all items cost Sheckles.
It was created specifically as part of the Lunar Glow Event reinstatement. When developers removed the Lunar Glow Event on May 24, 2025 (Update 1.07.0), community pressure brought it back the same day in Update 1.07.1 — and the Twilight Shop was added simultaneously as part of that restoration. Without community demand, the Twilight Shop wouldn't exist.

Every hour when night begins, the Twilight Shop spawns near the Wise Old Owl NPC in the lobby area. It stays open for 10 minutes. Shop stock varies each visit. All purchases require Sheckles — no event tokens or special currency.

Place the Star Caller anywhere in your garden and it redirects all meteor strikes toward its location during the next Meteor Shower. 3 uses before despawning. Meteor Showers have 33% probability during or after Night and Blood Moon events. Each meteor hitting a crop near the Star Caller applies Celestial mutation (120x multiplier).

Dragon Fruit 10kg without mutations = 850K × 100 (weight²) = 85M Sheckles. Same Dragon Fruit with Celestial (120x) = 850K × 100 × 120 = 10.2 Billion Sheckles. Moon Nap Ability
Every ~60 seconds Moon Cat naps for ~20 seconds and releases an aura within ~20 studs. Nearby fruit grows approximately 1.5x larger during the nap. Since weight is squared in the value formula, 1.5x larger fruit = 2.25x more Sheckle value (1.5 × 1.5). On a high-weight crop this compounds dramatically. An 8kg crop becomes effectively 12kg equivalent (8 × 1.5 = 12, squared: 144 vs 64 = 2.25x value).
Moon Harvest Ability
~6.1% chance for moon-type fruits (Moon Blossom, Moon Flower, Moon Mango, Moonglow, Starfruit) to remain after harvesting — free second harvest without replanting. For multi-harvest moon crops this stacks on top of natural multi-harvest property. Best ability for dedicated moon-crop gardens.

The Twilight mutation is a separate admin-event mutation not directly tied to the Twilight Shop. It appears during special crafting-speed weather effects (5x crafting speed active). Some admin events triggering a twilight atmosphere apply this mutation to crops. The Twilight mutation multiplier varies and stacks with existing multipliers similarly to other weather mutations. Cannot be actively triggered by players — admin-driven only.
